ALLEGATIONS BEING MADE BY CITIZENS AND VOLUNTEER
FIREFIGHTERS IN THEIR PURSUIT OF SIGNATURES.. IN
SIR PETITION DRIVE
MAYOR RUTHERFORD EXPLAINED. THAT AT A SPECIAL MEETING THE
DISCUSSION MUST BE LIMITED TO ONLY THE ITEMS ON THE AGENDA. HE
FURTHER NOTED THAT BE FEELS THE CITY NEEDS TO RESPOND TO THE
ALLEGATIONS BEING MADE 'BY,CITILENS AND VOLUNTEER FIREFIGHTERS IN
THEIR PURSUIT OF SIGNATURES FOR THEIR PETITION DRIVE.
MAYOR RUTHERFORD MOVED TO ADOPT ALETTER TO INCLUDE WITH THE
SEWER BILLS, MR; MARCHETTI SECONDED MOTION.
MAYOR RUTHERFORD EXPLAINED HE HAD DRAFTED TWO DIFFERENT,
FORMATS OF THE LETTER, MR. FISCHETTI READ THE TWO LETTERS FOR
THE BENEFIT OF THE CITIZENS IN ATTENDANCE, DISCUSSION FOLLOWED..

AND ANSWER FORMAT (LETTER A) WITH THE UTILITY BILLS. MR, MARCHETTI
SECONDED MOTION. VOTE ON THE NOTION WAS UNANIMOUS.
IN RESPONSE FROM AQUESTION BY MR. TON DOLAN, CITY ATTORNEY'
SCOTT EXPLAINED THAT IT WAS HIS ..OPINION .THAT THE ORDINANCE PROPOSED
BY THE POLITICAL COMMITTEE KNOWN AS THE CAPE CANAVERAL VOLUNTEER
FIRE DEPARTMENT. FRIENDS IS INVIOLATION OF THE ANTI-TRUST LAW

ABOUT HOW MANY MEETINGS HAVE BEEN HELD TRYING TO SETTLE THE ,

CONSENSUS OF COUNCIL TO ADD THE STATEMENT TO THE LETTER. Y ,

STATION AND THE ADDITION TO THE PUBLIC SAFETY BUILDING TO HOUSE

THE COUNCIL AND GAVE HIS OPINION ON THE BUILDINGS AND OTHER
FIRE RELATED ISSUES.
VOTE ON THE MOTION WAS AS FOLLOWS: IN FAVOR, MR. FISCHETTI ,
MR. MARCHETTI, MR. NICHOLAS AND MR. WINCHESTER; OPPOSED, MAYOR ,
RUTHERFORD. MOTION CARRIED.
VOTE ON THE MAIN MOTION, TO MAIL OUT THE LETTER WITH THE
