July 2, 1965
the City Council of the City of Cape Canaveral, Florida, met in
Special Session at the City Hall at 5 o'clock P.H. on July 2, 1965.
The Meeting was called to Order by Mayor Thurm and the roll wan
called by the Clerk. Officials present were Mayor Richard Thurm, Council -
men- Frank Hcog, Jack Hurck, Councilwoman - Frances Jamieson, CounciLmn-
;•artin chrider, City Manager- Joseph Rickards, Assistant City Attorney -
Irving Propper, City Clark- Donna Anderson and Sgt. -at -Arms- Lt. Bade

Mayor Thurm gave first Reading to an Ordinance OF THE CITY OF CAFS.
CAILAV'RAL, FLORIDA, AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 81 -61., ARTICL:s VI, GM?1ERAL
PROVISIONS AND EXCiSPTIONS WITH REGARD TO SET BACK ILWI] UENTS; PRO`'VIDIUG
,.1 F.FFF.CTIVr DATE. Mr. Hurck made a Notion to approve the first Reading
of the Ordinance with the stipulation that a letter of agreement be attached
to the Minutes from Mr. Goldberg. 'Mrs. Jamieson seconded the Motion. Mrs.
Ja.:Seson then made a Motien to emend in Section 2 by inscrtinrr the word
"riot" following the word Ordinances and to strike Lhe word "repealed" and
insert in lieu thereof, the word'' "Reaffiraa:d" Ma. !husk secondcd the Motion
and it carried unanimously. The first reading of the ordinance as amended
was approved unanimously.
Myer Thurm read a RESOLUTION 110. 65 -59 AUVIORMEG MAYOR TO EXECUTE-

On a Motion by Ms. Hurck, seconded by Mr. Hoog and carried unani-
mously, the Resolution was adopted.

On a Motion by fir. .Schrider, seconded by Mrs. Jamieson, the
Resolution was adopted unanimously.
There iming no other business before the Council, the Hunting was
adjourned on a Motion by Mr. Hurck, seconded by Mrs. Jamieson and curried
unanimously.
