TIE CITY COUNCIL
June 22, 1965
The City Council of the City of Cape Canaveral, Florida met in
Special Session at the City Hall, 7410 Astronaut Blvd., at 6:10 P.M.
on Juno 22, 1965.
The Meeting was called to Order by Mayor Thum and the roll was
called by the Clerk. Officials present were Mayor Richard R. Thum,
Councilmen- Frank Hoog, Jack Hureks Martin Shrider, City Manager-
Joseph Rickards, City Attorney- T. David Durns, City Clark- Donna J.
Anderson and Sgt. -at -Arms- L. W. Nichols.
Item 1. Moon Hut Addition ( 8x8 Acceasory Duilding)
Mr. Hurck made a Motion that a Building Permit be issued for an
81 x 81 storage or accessory building. Mr. Hoog seconded the Notion
and it carried unanimously.
Item 2. Resolution Appointing Members of the Zoning k'Plan,ira
Board.
On a Motion by Mr. Hurck, seconded by Hr. Moog and passed
unanimously, the following Resolution was adopted. REESOLUTION NO.
65 -56, APPOINTING MEMBERS OF TW- ZONING AND PLA!X1f l' BOARD; PROVIDII:G
AN- EFFECTIVE DATE.
h}D;REAS the City Council of the City of Cape Canaveral, Florida,
has by Ordinance No. 18-63 created a Board to be kno�m as the Zoning
and Planning Board of the City of Cape Canaveral, and
I.RERE14 there now exist five (5) vacancies on the said Board by
reason of resignations and expiration of terms of office, it is now
incumbent upon said Council to appoint and constitute the mertarahlp
of .,,Id Board.

of the Zoning and Planning Board of., the City of Cape Canaveral,
Florida, for terms expiring on the third Tuesday In June, 1967.
SECTICII 2. This Resolution shall become effective Irmediately
upon its adoption by the City Council of the City of Cape Canaveral,
Florida.
ADOPTED by the City Council of the City. of Cape Canaveral,
Florida, on this 15th day of June „1965.
There being no other business before the Council, the Meeting
was adjourned on a Motion by Mr. Murck, seconded by Mr. Schrider and
carried unanimously.
