Mayor Thurm called the Meeting to Order and the roll was called by the Clerk. officials present were: Mayor Richard R. Thum, Councilmen: '.h. Eberaein, Jack Hurck, and Eugene Jandreau, City Attorney: T. David Curnn, City Clerks Donna J. Anderson, Sergeant -at -Armes L. W. Nichols. The Minutes of the Regular Meeting of May k, 1965 and the Minutes of Special :-eeting of May 6, 1965 were read by the Clerk and with no additions or corrections, were approved as read. the Treasury Report was approved as submitted OLD B'JSIItESS Item 1 A R C Ordinance Amendment (2nd and Final Readir;e) Mayo r. Mr. Hurck then made a Fetion . to amend by adding a new Section 3: Prior to the issuance of any license or permit to any establishment dealing, In alcoholic beverages as covered. City Mannger was placed as Item 6. on the Agenda. Item 3. Re- Zoning of Existing Classification West of SR 401 On a Motion by Mr. Hurck, seconded by Mr. Jandmau and carried unani- mously, Item 3 was tabled. Item 4. Revocation of Permit - Cities Service Station. Mayor Ilium read "A RESOLUTICN U=G TPE VARIANCE REQUEST OF CITY SERVICE STATION; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE." After discussion, Hr. Hurck made a Motion to adopt the Resolution. Mir. Eberwein seconded the Motion and it carried unanimously. A short recess was called. Item 5. Resolution Prescribing Registration dates & hours .Mayor Thum read "A RCSOLUTIOJ PR'iSCRIBING ADDITIONAL HOURS FOR VOTER REGISTRATION; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE." On a Motion by Mr. Hurck, seconded by Mr. Ebermein and carried unanimously the Resolution was adopted. Item 2. City Manager ,Mayor Thurm gave first reading to "AN ORDINANCE APPOIIITINO A CITY MV,NAGER; P.ROVIDIING AN EFFECTIVE DATE." Mr., Jandreau made a Motion to approve thefirst reading of the Ordinance. Hr. Hurck seconded the Motion which carried with Mr. Jandreau and Mr.. Hurck voting in favor and Mir. Eborwein op! osing.' Item 6. Resolution Approving Absentee Ballots. Mayor Thum: read "A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE FOR-11 AND CONTENT OF RALL0:3 M DE USED FOR JUIM, 1965 MUNICIPAL ELECTION; PROVIDING A:! EF. ECTIVE DATE." On a Motion by Mr. Jandreau, seconded. by Mr. Hurck and a%rrled unanimously, the Resolution was adopted. Mr. Jandreau then made a Motion to place a new Item ':Noon Hut" on the Agenda. Mr. F.be —ein . seconded the Motion. Mr. Hurck opposed and the Notion failed under the requirement of unanimous consent. Mr. Hurck then nude 'a Motion that the Item, be placed on the Agenda for discussion. Mr. Jandreau seconded the Motion and it carried unanimously. After the discussion Hr. Jandr"au seconded by Mr. Eberwein and carried unanimously, Item 1. was tabled. Item 2. Trailer Park Variance. Mayor Thum read the reco=,endations of the 'Zoning Board Meeting of May 6, 1965, denying the request. He then read "A ffi30LUTICN 107ING A TRAILER, PARK VARIANCE FV;QUEST; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE." The Frsolution was adopted on a Motion, by Mr. Jandreau, seconded by Mr. Nurck, with Mr. Flurck and Mr. Jandreau voting, in favor and Mr. Eberwein opposing. there being no other business before the Board of Adjustment the Meeting was adjourned on a Motion by Mr. Jandreau, seconded by Mr. Rurck and carried unanimously at 9:50 P.M.
