Jeff – does the requirement that each building have a separate
connection prohibit the proposed house from connecting to the existing
water and/or sewer lines in the existing easement? In other words, is
it saying that a building on the proposed lot must connect to City water
and/or sewer facilities on Holman Road?
Kim…thoughts?

David:
I am embarrassed to say that I was not aware of the attached ordinance.
This issue really hasn’t come up since I’ve been around – but all
residences need a separate sewer hook-up. We’ve installed several sewer
lines to the ROW lines over the years – but they have always been single
lines to each residence. We have many duplexes in town that have sewer
lines connected with a “Y”, but these have experienced blockage
problems. This obviously effects the Bill Young issue.
Thanks,
Jeff Ratliff
