HomeMy WebLinkAboutRE Researching the conveyance of Holman Rd from the County to the City (11)Todd: I have a survey of the entire length of Holman Road on an engineering drawing if you need it. Thanks, Jeff From: Todd Morley Sent: Wednesday, January 14, 2015 12:08 PM To: Jeff Ratliff; Angela Apperson Cc: David Dickey Subject: RE: Researching the conveyance of Holman Rd. from the County to the City Angie, Since we cannot locate any record of Council ever approving this, can you reach out to your counterpart at the County and see if they have any documentation indicating we accepted it? Also, the survey appears to only reference the east-west portion of Holman (not the north-south). Thanks, Todd Todd Morley, Director Community & Economic Development Dept. I was asked to research this issue back in 2009. In a nutshell, Holman Road was deeded to the City by the County (and recorded) – but we could never find documentation that the issue went to the City Council for approval. The County approved the transfer but the City never signed off. It was decided that the City owned the road and we have been maintaining it since. I hope this helps.
