As General Manager of CONCUT DIAMOND PRODUCT’s East coast operation, my duties and responsibilities include; financial P/L, equipment manufacturing, equipment and diamond blades sales (inside and outside), warehouse management, inventory management (ordering & control), business development in the private and government sectors, foreign countries factory liaison, and technical training manager. I have traveled extensively within China, Korea and the United States as a buyer and training instructor for Concut. As the Executive Director of the Broward Solid Waste Disposal District, I reported to the Resource Recovery Board (RRB), which is the 9-member governing body of this independent special solid waste district that serves a population of 1.5 million. The Resource Recovery System includes two 2,250 tons per day waste-to-energy plants, a 560-acre class I landfill, a materials recovery facility (MRF) and a household hazardous waste (HHW) facility. As the City of Wilton Manors' Director of Public Works, I was responsible for the water distribution system repairs & new installation, sewer system operation & maintenance, storm-water installation, project management, street maintenance, vehicle maintenance, engineering and inspection services, solid waste/recycling services, contract administration and grant writing. Additionally, I was the project manager for 3 multi-million dollar rehabilitation projects: water, sewer and storm-water; which were done simultaneously over a 5-year period.
