Atoka is a town in Tipton County, Tennessee, United States,
with a population of 8,089 residents.
Planning Commissioner (2005-2009)
Effectively prepared and presented detailed information to the board of mayor and aldermen (city council), planning
commission, and citizen groups including advisory boards and homeowner’s associations, instrumental to short-term and long-range planning.
Strategically prioritized, planned, coordinated,
and drove projects to ensure on-time, budget-compliant delivery while maintaining high quality standards.
Contributed critical thinking and analytical skills in identifying and resolving
various issues with a fast-growth community to ensure proper planning of infrastructure and aesthetic environment.
Applied advanced communication abilities toward establishing key relationships
with elected officials, appointed officials, citizen groups, civil engineers, State of Tennessee planners, FEMA, local builders association and department heads including police, fire
