Responsible for all day-to-day processes of municipal operation; while developing and administering $5.2M budget;
Prepared and presented annual Town
budget for Commission’s consideration and approval;
Hired, supervised, and evaluated all department heads;
Oversaw construction of $2.45 municipal complex from final design to construction
completed (on time and under budget);
Coordinated renovation of several historic Town landmarks (on time and under budget);
Negotiated all contracts for the Town Commission, (including
but not limited to: pension plans, health benefits, contracted services, and construction);
Administered the Town’s Storm Water Utility District;
Lead the effort to integrate and restructure
of the Information Technology program and Finance Dept. including software for first ever real-time availability of fiscal information to all Department Heads and the Commission (the
prior finance system was outsourced by the Town leading to a 30 to 60 day return on fiscal data), while preparing to bring the Town into conformity with GASBE 34;
