Finance, Library, Museum, Human Resources, Risk Management and City Clerk. Planned. organized and facilitated meetings with Department Heads, City Commissioners, Legal Advisor, Planning
Agencies, outside contractors and other concerned citizens. Obtained and Managed over $700,000 in grants for infer structure improvements and parks. Served as the City’s Emergency Manager.
1977-2005
– Lieutenant, Polk County Sheriff’s Office, Florida (population 600,000)
Personally worked, led, managed and supervised in every sector of law enforcement to include; Major Crimes, Robbery,
Burglary, Fraud, Special Victims, Narcotics, and patrol. Possess extensive experience in Incident Command Systems, Crime Trend Analysis, Community Policing and modern law enforcement
leadership. Personally held a command position in many catastrophic incidents to include three major hurricanes and dignitary protection. Personally work, supervised and held a command
position in joint operations and investigations with the U.S. Attorney’s Office, DEA, FBI, U.S Postal Service, U.S Secret Service, Florida Department of Law Enforcement, State Attorney
Generals Office and State and County Emergency Management Groups.
