CITY OF CAPE CANAVERAL
December 15, 1964
The Regular Meeting of the City of Cape Canaveral, City
Council met in Regular Session at 190 Jackson Ave., the City Hall
Annex.
The !bating was called to Order by Mayor Thum and the roll
was called by the Clerk. Officials present were Mayor Thum; Council-
woman Francis Jamieson, Councilmen Jack, Hurck, Eugene Jandreau, J- D.
Badgett - City Manager, T. David Burns - City Attorney, Donna J.
Anderson - City Clerk, L. W. Nichols - Sergeant -At -Arms.
The Minutes of the Regular Meeting of December 1, 1964 and
the Minutes of the Specikl Meeting for Public Hearing of December 8,
1964 were read by the Clerk and there being no additions or corrections
were approved as read.
The Treasury Report was accepted as submitted.

Mayor Thum opened and read the three bids submitted as follewst

Terms Net Cash. After discussion, Mr. Hurck made a Motion that the $tea
be tabled until the tatter could be taken up in workeession. The Motion
died for lack of a second.
Mr. Jandreau made a Motion to appropriate $2,500.00 for the
purchase of street equipment, said sale subject to the approval of the
City Engineer. Mrs. Jamieson seconded the Motin, which carried with
Mr. Jandreau and Mrs. Jamieson voting in favor and Mr. Hurck opposing.

NEW BUSINESS
Item 1 and Item 2. Were combined and ^syor Thum read Resolution No.
81 -64 eA RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO APPOINT A BUILDING
INSPECTOR FOR THE CITY OF CAPE CANAVERAL, AND IN THE ABSENCE OF THE SAID
BUILDING INSPECTOR 70 APPOINT A DEPUTY BUILDING INSPECTOR TO SERVE IN THE
TEMPORARY ABSENCE OF THE SAID•BUILDING INSPECTOR."
Mr. Jandreau made a Motion to adopt the Resolution, Mr. Hurck
seconded the lotion and it was passed unanimously.'
There being no other business before the Council, the meeting
was adjourned at 8x45 P.H. on a Motion by Mr. Hurck, seconded by Mr.
Jandreau and passed unanimously.
