September 15, 1961,
The Regular Meeting of the City Council of the City. of Cape Canaveral,
I.Iorlda was held at City Hall Annex, 1.30 Jackson Ave., Cape Canaveral, Florida.
The Meeting was called to Order by Mayor Thum and the Clerk called
the roll. Officials present were: Mayor Richard Thum, Councilmen: W.
Fbee-sin, Jack Hurck, Francis Jamiesont Eugene JRndreau, T. David Burns- City
4ttorney, Donna J. Anderson'- City Clerk, J. D. Badgette - City I'lanager, Chief
l.im',erley - Sargent -at -Arms.
The Minutes of the Regular Meeting of September 1, 1964, were a-nrovcd
with the following additions, "Stem 2. Public Hearing - Adoption of Bulvet,
11ri. Jamieson requested that the Minutes reflect that her opposition vote on
the ad—tion was based on objections to the items City Hq1l and City Furniture.'.
The Treasury Report was approved with no additions or co:•mctionn.

and Final Reading. Mr. Hurck seconded the I-lotion. Mrs. Jamieson made a I-Ition
to amend by requiring a bond in the amount of $5,000. and 'A prepayment of the
Franchise Fee in the amount of :4Ip000. Mr. Jazulreau seconded the Motion to Amend
ani the amendment passed unanimously. The Ordinance as amended was adopted by
the unanimous vote of the Council.

NO. 30 -614." ' On a Motion by Mrs. Jamieson, seconded by Mr. Jandreau,
the 1st Heading of the Ordinance was approved by the unanimous vote of the Council.
Item 3. Conditional Use Renuest - Friedman
Mayor Thum read the letter of request and the 'Zoning Board minutes
of 5eptember 3, 1964 approving Mr. Friedman's requent. Mr. Jandreau made a
Motion that the request he ,)[,roved providing, no additions or enclosures ix added
without Council approval. Mr. Hurek seconded the Motion and it was approved
unanimously.
Item 4. Ra mest for %. ach Concession -Flake
Mayor Thum read the letter of Request and the Minutes of the Zoning
Bo-„d of September 3, 1964, apnrovinr the request vith conditions. Mr. Jandreau
made a Motion to deny the reeue.st which died for lack of a second. Mr. Hurek
then made a Motion to table the Item indefinately. Mr. Jandreau seconded the
'lotion :md it carried unanimously.
Ite, 5. Conditional Use Renuest - Sun -Ridge Corporation
Mr. Jandreau made a M.otionto table this Item until further information
could be obtained. Mr. Hurek secendrd the Motion and it ws carried' unanimously.
It— 6. Resolution - Elizabeth Holmes
Mayor Thum read the resolution and it was adopted by the unanimous
vote of the Council.
There being no other business before the Council, the Meeting was
ad ourned on a Notion by Mr.'Hurck, seconded by Mr. , Jandreau end carried unanimously.
