March 3, 1964 The Regular Meeting of the City Council of the City of Cape Canaveral, Florida, convened at 7130 P.M., on March 3rd., 1964, at the Temporary City Hall, 109 Buchanan Ave., Cape Canaveral, Florida. City Officials present were: Mayor Richard R. Thum, Councilmen: Jack Hurck, F. L. Murphy, Yin. Ebarwein, and Eugene Jandreau, Donna J. Anderson — City Clerk. The Meeting was called to Order by Mayor Thum. The Minutes of the Regular Meeting of February 20, 1964 were read by Mayor Thum and on a Motion by Mr. Jandreau, seconded by Mr. Farphy, the Minutes were approved unanimously. OLD PUSINE11 Item 1. Zoning Man On a lbtion by Yr. Jandreau, seconded bb Mr. Murphy and approved unanimously, the Item was taken from the Table. Yr. Jandrsnu made a Motion that a new map be substituted and attached to Ordinance 64 -1 and Marked Fxhibit B. Mr. ihrphy and Mr. Eberwein voted in favor of the Motion and Mr. Hurck voted against. Mayor Thum then read Ordinance 64 -1 as Adopted. NEV. BUSTNESS Item 1. Variance Request Joan Morris Mayor Thurm read the letter of application for variance from Mrs. Morris and from the Minutes of the Zoning Board of February 20, 1964 showing approval of the Zoning Board. Mr. Murphy made a Motion tog rant the Variance, Mr. Eberwein seconded. the Motion. Mr. Jandreau made a Motion to Amend the Motion by adding that this variance be granted with the limitation to land usage.. Mr. Hurck seconded the Motion as amended and the Variance was granted by unanimous vote of the Council. Item 2. Approval of Drainage plans on State Road 401 Mr. Jandreau made a. Motion to approve the drainage plans as submitted by Briley, Wild & Associates. Mr. Eberwein seconded the Motion. Mr. Hurck saved to Amend the Motion to state that the drainage plans be approved as indicated on the map Lut not neceas:rely the side streets as they appear on the Map. Mr. Jandreau seconded the Motion and it was approved by unanimoua vote. Hr. Jnndraau seconded the Motion and it was passed unanimously. Mr. Hirphy made a Motion to adjourn, Mr. Jandreau seconded the Motion and the Meeting was adjourned by unanimous vote.
