L..Mhrphy, George Ritchie - City Attorney, and Maxine Pearson, D,puty City Clark.. ilnn Montle was called to order by Mayor TTmrm. - Haut ea of the Regular Meeting 'of September; 17, 1963 were read.. Mfr. Hurck rpientioned the figure pertaining to the Volunteer Fire Department in the =aunts of C3,5ck400 and $5,108.25. The Correction was made that the increased figure was due tc equipment for the new fire truck. .Mfr. Street Lirhts: The City Attorney stated his observation in this matter was the installation of underground cables, which would be an expense to the City. :!r. II-.c City Attorney stated he had boon checking into the qualifications and needed nore time to check with the National Securities Exchange Cormission before a decision can be made. This would probably take two (2) weeks. I.-' . Jandreau stated that Briley, Wild & Associ'tos recoinmended Mr. Anderson ,nd 'no based his decision on this. Hr. Ebeivein seconded the I-Istion. 7ho Vote was carried by Vr. Hurck, Eberwrains and Mayor Thum. Mr. Jandreau and Hirphy abstained. 2. Variance Letters: Mayor. Thum read a variance letter in part from Rr. 1bL nornki ra: Florida Technical Colle,-01 this wan put on the Special Katir'g Ai'cnd-, on Oct. 8, 1963, for action by the Council. Variance letters from Rr. ?ucicor and I•;r. Irvin wore t%bled until Oct. 15th Regular ]meting.'
