Mr. Nicholas explained that the current copier has been rebuilt
twice and that due to problems with the copier, numerous service
calls have been 12,000 c. Mr.pmonth.

8. Discussion Re: Street Paving
Mr. Nicholas stated that the estimate for the resurfacing of
$17,756.34.
Ridgewood Avenue was $40,296.48 and Central Avenue. was
Mr. Nicholas noted that the City still had money to spend on
street repairs this fiscal year. Discussion followed. Mayor Lee
suggested starting with Tower Boulevard. Mr. Nicholas is to speak
with WSW Constructors before the Council Meeting on August 2,
1988.

9. Discussion Re: Radios for Sheriff's Department
Mr. Nicholas stated that the price for the twelve radios was
$9,036.00. Discussion followed.

DISCUSSION
Mr. Nicholas stated that the Governor had turned down the
added membership of the Metropolitan Planning Organization.
Mr. Nicholas noted that there are sewer problems tthe

and that the City was in the process of digging up he
at this time to try to determine if the problem was in City lines.
City Attorney Theriac asked that anitembe added to the August
2nd agenda regarding "Authorization for Reimbursement of Legal
Fees" for John Murphy and Leo Nicholas. Mr. Nicholas is
requesting reimbursement of legal fees incurred to date.

followed concerning an amendment to the Zoning Ordinance and what
action can be taken to clarify the ordinances.
Mr. Nicholas stated that the price for the "sister City
Visitation" to Guidonia would be $2,100.00 per person and that
at least twenty people should be travelling to Italy.
