HomeMy WebLinkAboutMinutes 11-27-1962 SpecialMinutes of Special Meeting November 27, 1962 A Special Meeting of the City CounciI of the City of Cape Canaveral, was held at 7 :30, P.M., November 27, I962, at the Recreation Hall of the Cocoa Palms Trailer Park. City Officials Present were: Mayor R.A. Jamieson, George G. Rogers, Leo B. Collins, A. D. Anderson,v William Eberwein, City Attorney George Ritchie and City Clerk, Shirley Jenkins. ;Absent: C.F. Applegate. Meeting was called to order by the President of the Council. 1. Sewerage Disposal System: Mr. Starling, Attorney for Shufford Mills submitted an agrement to the City Council for their acceptance to permit Shufford Mills to install sewerage on their property. It was suggested that the City Attorney and Mr. Starling get together and go over the agreement. The following changes were agreed on by the City Attorney and Mr. Starling. (1) Paragraph 1. add "and constitutes land belonging to landowners." (2) Paragraph 2. add "except as herein provided. Allroads and property of the City used under this agreement shall be replaced in the same condition as it was prior to use." (3) Paragraph 4. insert the work "unreasonable" after "any" and before "restriction" insert the words "under this agreement" after "whatsover " and before " "provided," (4) Paragraph 5. delete the words "and 'after five years" and insert the words "any time," (5) Paragraph 6. This paragraph was added "Any plans for Sewer- age Engineering or installation shall be approved by the state Board of Health and shall be in conformance with any and all City Ordinances, (6) Paragraph number 6 was changed to 7, add the words "unless sooner terminated by purchase by the City of Cape Canaveral or Mtutual Agree- ment." The Agreement was then read to the Council with changes, after a gen - era] discussion, a vote was rolled to accept or not to accept the agreement.
