MEMBERS PRESENT: J. Datillo, B. Gorham, R. Mead, S. Roney, B. Schmidt,
R. Thurm
MEMBERS ABSENT: C. Finnigan, M. Kulac
Chairman B. Gorham called the meeting to order at 5:00 pm.
Minutes of the last meeting were re)ad. Moved to accept by R. Mead,
seconded by J. Datillo.
Director Nancy Hanson reviewed the Department Financial Report and
Directors Report. FRDAP Grant Update: all items have been completed.
Awaits Inspectors Report.
Lawsuit regarding Long Point Residents is still pending.
Haunted Forest was well received but still is not as smooth as desired.
Nancy is still hoping to get the Senior Drop -In set up soon. Moved and
seconded to accept Directors Report.
Proposed renovations to Canaveral City Park is tabled until T. Hernandez
can attend.
Holiday Tree Lighting Ceremony will be Sunday December 14 6:30 - 7:30 pm.
Decorating will be December 9 at 1:00 pm.
Nomination and Election of Officers for 1997 - 1998
President - J. Datillo. Nominated by R. Thurm, seconded by B. Gorham
Secretary - M. Kulac. Nominated by B. Schmidt, seconded by J. Datillo
Vice Pres.- H. Renshaw. Nominated by B. Schmidt, seconded by S. Roney
Discussion on the Manatee Park revealed a time line of '98-99.
R. Mead moved to adjourn. Seconded by J. Datillo. Meeting adjourned
at 5:47 pm.
