AN ORDINANCE AUMMIIA THE ORDINANCE
REGULATING ESTABLISHISM DEALING IN
ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES AS TO IMATIO14 AND
SANITARY CONDITIONS WITHIN THE CITY

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAFE CANAVERAL, FLORIDA,
AS FOLWKS%
WHEREAS, it has been determined by the City Commission of the
City of Cape Canaveral, Florida, and as previously promised by them, that
the hours of .sale of establishments dealing in alcoholic beverages should
be enlarged and determined; therefor,
BE IT ORDAINED AND ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAPE
CAI7AVfMlS, COUNTY OF BREVABD, STATE OF FLORIDA, .?hats
SECTION 1
Ordinance Number 6 -62 heretofore passed by this Commission, be,
and it is hereby amended to include the hours of sale of establishments
dealing in alcoholic beverages, and this is to be dons
1. By adding to the title of Ordinance Number 6-62 the words
"their hours of sale ", which is to be placed between the
words "to" and "location".
2. By adding to the Ordinance Number 6.52 the paragraphs
2A and 2B which is to read as follows

For the purpose of this Ordinance the hours of sale
hereby established and permitted covering the
establishments dealing in alcoholio beverages within
the City Limits of the City of Cape Canaveral will
be as follows:
It shall be unlawful for any person, to sell, serve, consume,
or permit to be sold, served or consumed, in any place within the City
of Cape Canaveral holding a license under the Beverage Laws of the

State of Florida, any alcoholic beverages, between the hours of 2:00
o'clock A.M.. and 7:00 o'clock A.M. on Mondays, Taesdays, ikednesdays„
Thursdays and Fridays; between the hours of 3:00 o'clock A.M. and
7:00 o'clock A.M. on Saturdays, between the hours of 3:00 o'clock A.M.
and 1:00 o'clock P.M. on Sundays, and between the hours of 3:00 o'clock •
A.M., and 7:00 o'clock A.M. on the following holidays: New Years pay,
Washington's Birthday, Memorial Day, Independence Day (14th of JulY)p
Labor Day, Veteran's Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas: Day.
Provided however, it shall not be unlawful for any person to
sell, serve, consume or permit to be sold, served or consumed, in any
place within the City of Cape Canaveral holding a license under the Bev—
erage Laws of the State of Florida, any beer, ale, or wine between the
hours of 7:00 o'clock A.M. and 1:00 o'clock P.M. on Sundays.
SECTION (2B)
During the hours. the polls are /open in the City of Cape
Canaveral, for any State, County or Municipal general or primary election,
it shall be unlawful for any parson to sell,. serve or permit to be sold or
served, any alcoholic beverages within the City of Cape Canaveral, and it
shall be unlawful for any person to keep open any barroom, saloon, cocktail
lounge or other place for the sale of alcoholic beverages:, at retail, with-
in the City of Cape Canaveral, during the hours the polls are open within
the City of Cape Canaveral, for any State, County, or Municipal general or
primary election; 'not to include special elections of State, County or
Nnnicipal. •
