WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Cape Canaveral, Florida wishes • to ensure the orderly growth and development of their city, and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Cape Canaveral wishes to ensure adequate access to all parts of the City for growth and emergency vehicles, and WHEREAS, pursuant to the Map Streets Act and Chapter 501 of the City Code of the City of Cape Canaveral, the Planning and Zoning Board has drafted, held public hearings concerning same and approved the Plat establishing the Ridgewood Avenue Extension and the East-West Connector, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY the City Council of the City of Cape Canaveral, as follows: SECLiON 1. The Plat, prepared and approved by the Planning and Zoning Board, and attached hereto and made a part hereof by reference is hereby adopted as shown. SECTION 2. This reservation of mapped streets shall be effective for a period of twenty (20) years from the date hereof. SECTION 3. The City Clerk is hereby authorized to effectuate the recording of the Plat in the public records of Brevard County. SECTION 4. All portions of the Code of the City of Cape Canaveral in conflict herewith are hereby repealed. SECTION 5. This Ordinance shall become effective immediately upon its adoption.
