AMENDING SUB- SECTION 1, R OF SECTION 6 OF
Aivricix. 5 AND AMENDING SUB- SEXTION c (1) OF
SEC'T'ION Ill OF ARTICLE U TO PROVIDE WITHOUT
EXCEPTION THAT NO GASOLINE, OIL FILLING
STATION Olt SERVICE STATIONS DE M,RMITTED
WITHIN 2000 FEET OF AN EXISTING STATION.
WHEREAS, llm Council of the City of Cape Cmtavern1, Florida,
desires to delete the exception granted to motels, hotels or,motor courts
which permitted construction of service slatleas within 2000 feel of an
existing service station,
NOW, THEREFOlth. be it ordained by the City Council of the City
of Cnpe Ca a veral, Urevnvd County, Florida, as follows:
SECTION 1: Sub - section 1, Q of Section ci of Article 5 of
Ordinance BI -(;.I ns amended by Ordbulace Ill -6411 be nod the same is
hereby amended in its entirety to read as follows:
"l. Q. Service slntians which are 2000 feet
apart by shortest driving route."
SECTION 2: Sub - section c(1) of Section 10, of Article 6 of
Ordinance 01-64 as amended by Ordinance 01 -6411, be and the same is hereby
amended fn its entirely to tend as follows:
"c (1) The opt-ration of existing gasoline and ail
filling slalions or service stations, provided

of an existing station by shol•lesl vehicle route. "
SECTION 3: All Ordinances and parts of Ordinances in conflict
herewith he and the xauu' are hereby repealed.
SECTION •1: This Ordinance shall lake cffoet inma- diately upon Its
adoption.
