>Please find a PDF of our county's historical resources and enter into
the city's records.
Resources for our city are also included.
I will be sharing this with a new group I started called the Cape
Canaveral Heritage Council and we will be working on it and may
reference in in future communications.
Sorry if I sent it to any parties where it is irrelevant as I don't
have all the functions of the different departments down pat yet.

Obviously with the angry emails there is no reason to send out
email to the group in a spirit of cooperation.
Regarding number 2 below in addition to the replacement of
evasive trees with native trees that would apply also to
dead Bay trees being replaced with live native trees too
And one more item please. Can you send me an doc of the appeals
process for tree removal? Is there a way it can be deferred
to a special committee like P&Z or Board of Adjustments?
I appreciate and respect the difficult position you are in.
Please remember we are a tree city with the Arbor Day
Foundation.

Duree, I echo John's comments in that we can count on
the city and your department to do the right and fair thing.
I look forward to getting the docs regarding my public
record request soon.
Also, I have some other questions about this process
that you or maybe somebody else on this list can answer.
1) Is there a mechanism that will ensure that only the
trees listed in the report are removed?
2) Regarding the removal of the evasive species trees,
will they be replaced with native trees?
I and others believe it is imperative that we maintain
the bio-diversity of our area. We have Ospreys and migratory birds
of various species using these trees and it will lose
it's natural charm if there are no trees. Not to mention endanger the
infrastructure of the land.
Respectively yours,
Ray Osborne

Duree,
Many of marked trees are healthy palms. Some
with termite work on them, but most do down by the water.
I know I can count on the city to continue its
normal equal treatment and justice for all policy. I am glad the
loudest voice and most money does not influence the way we govern in our
great city.
Thanks for the heads up and serving the
citizens.
