Please find the requested quarterly report attached.
No new site plans have been submitted or approved since our last
correspondence.
Renovations do not require site plan approval and they come to us with
a contractor already selected.
Example: Don Facciobene submitted a permit application for the IAP
building which will undergo a major renovation

Todd-
Good morning! I just got off the phone with Mayor Randels who updated
me on all the personnel changes that have taken place within the past
few months. Sounds like the most recent Vision process will be a good
guide for the city’s future!
Since your November 23rd email below, has your department received any
new or approved any commercial site plans that are for constructing or
renovating commercial buildings: retail, restaurant, office, medical,
warehouse, condominiums, industrial, city halls and municipal structures
of all types? If so, could you provide me with the answers to the
following questions:
1) Status of project? Is the project currently in the site plan
review process?
2) Has project received site plan approval?
3) Has project received building permit?
4) Name of contractor selected?
5) Name of project applicant, engineer, contact numbers, etc.
6) Name of property owner, contact numbers.
Thanks for your help.
In addition, could you also email me your next quarterly report re:
“Community Development Department Quarterly Activity Report:
October-December 2009” when it is completed? The last edition sent was
very informative!

Chris,
The Mayor sent you to the right Department!
The quarterly report contains the most up-to-date information we have
for the projects. So, rest assured that it will indicate whether a site
plan was submitted, under review, approved, etc.
Likewise for building permits.
Please accept our apologies that all of the information you request is
not presented in the report (we typically will not list the names and
contact numbers for applicants, contractors and engineers).
This is because it is intended to be an executive-level “snapshot” of
current activities in the City of Cape Canaveral without being
overburdened with excessive information.
Regardless, I will attempt to answer the unaddressed questions as best
I can in the following matrix:
Is the project currently in the site plan review process?

Mayor Randels and I were talking the other day about proposed
development projects that were either in the talking stages or may be in
the site plan process? From your “Community Development Department
Quarterly Activity Report: July-September 2009,” three projects are of
interest to me and he advised that you were the person to contact for
information. For:
1. Caribbean Vistas- 420 Madison Avenue
2. Puerto Del Rio-at W. central and Thurm Boulevard
3. Sea Shell Cay North Townhomes
Please provide the following information:
1) Status of project? Is the project currently in the site plan
review process?
2) Has project received site plan approval?
3) Has project received building permit?
4) Name of contractor selected?
5) Name of project applicant, engineer, contact numbers, etc.

Melbourne company with over 25 years of experience in all areas of
constructing or renovating commercial buildings: retail, restaurant,
office, medical, warehouse, condominiums, industrial, city halls and
municipal structures of all types, etc. Our interest is to bid on
projects, get the best cost to customers, and create taxable properties
